Job Description

Construction Laborers will do a variety of job site activities to include: * Clean and prepare construction sites. * Remove construction debris. * Assist carpenters in building forms for pouring concrete. * Erect and disassemble scaffolding and other temporary structures. * Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials to the appropriate locations. * Laborers will also tend to machines; for example, may mix concrete using a portable mixer or tend a machine that pumps concrete. * Help other craftworkers, including carpenters, plasterers, operating engineers, and masons. * Laborer may lift and carry heavy objects, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions. * Some work at great heights, or outdoors in all weather conditions. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. * Must possess RELIABLE transportation, hard hat, work boots, gloves & safety glasses. * Must have a minimum of 1-3 years experience.

Qualifications

* Must have a minimum of 1-3 years experience.

Must be able to follow directions and instructions of the contractor.

Possess all Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. hardhat, work boots, safety vest and safety glasses).

Reliable Personal transportation to get to work.

Valid Drivers License.

Verifiable employment history for past 5 years (Supervisors Names and Telephone Numbers) required.

Desire to make a difference on the job.

Ability to take and pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test prior to job assignment.

No Felony Convictions in the past 5 years.

No DUI/DWI or Drug Convictions in the past 5 years.
