While we are a large company that caters to Fortune 100 Corporations, we are more nimble than most of the smaller "hometown" agencies. Our History

Trillium Staffing was founded in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1984 by our founder and CEO Rene Poch. Over time our employment service portfolio has grown. What began as a commercial employment agency with one office and two employees has blossomed into six companies with fifty three locations across the nation. Over the last twenty years Trillium has developed into Trillium Traditional, Trillium Construction, Trillium Drivers, Computer & Engineering Services, Perennial Contractors, and Trillium Elite. Today, we service over one thousand clients and employ well over five thousand employees in various capacities around the country.

The Trillium Family Timeline

1984

• Trillium started in February 1984. PMG, Inc., TPO, Inc., and Poch Staffing are established.

1991

• Trillium (Poch Staffing, Inc.) acquires Victor Staffing.

1995

• Trillium purchases Time Professional Services.

1996

• Trillium purchases Computer & Engineering services in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

1999

• Midwest Construction Services, Inc. joins the Trillium family becoming Trillium Construction and Trillium Drivers Divisions.
• PMG, Inc. and Poch Staffing merges into Poch Staffing, Inc.

2000

• Time Professional Services is absorbed into Computer & Engineering Services (CES).
• Trillium Construction acquires Go-Temps Inc.
• Trillium (Poch Staffing) acquires Barman, Inc.

2001

• RC Engineering is acquired and merged into Computer & Engineering Services (CES).
• Ameristaff, USA is purchased by Poch Staffing, Inc.

2005

• Perennial Contractors is formed to provide marine construction subcontracting.
• Opportunity Specialists is acquired by Trillium (Poch Staffing).
• Trillium Accounting Division is created.

2007

• Trillium Drivers acquires and merges with Transportation Specialists, Inc. located in New Jersey.
• Trillium Elite Division is created.
• Trillium acquires Human Capital (Michigan), Quixx Temporary Staffing (Louisiana), and International Contractors (Louisiana)
